In light of the recent coronavirus emergency declaration, we are implementing some procedures to keep everyone safe. Since there are no regularly scheduled lessons this week for spring break (March 16th-20th) we have this time to keep apprised of the situation, and will keep you updated accordingly.
To everyone coming into the studio:
1. Wash your hands with our antibacterial soap upon entering the building and before leaving the building. We have two sinks, one in the bathroom and in the kitchen. If the bathroom sink is unavailable feel free to use the kitchen sink, we will keep that door open for your use.
2. We ask that only students enter the building. Parents and family, please escort young students to the front door and kindly wait in the car for the duration of the lesson. Teachers will be available to walk them out, if desired.
3. Hand sanitizer is also available in the waiting room for those who need it, but because of the shortages, soap is the more sustainable and the more effective option for everyone.
4. Instructors will wipe down all keyboards and surfaces, doorknobs and music stands with disinfectant between every student.
5. If you or any family members have or have had recent flu-like symptoms we respectfully ask that you do not come to your lessonuntil all symptoms have subsided and you either test negative for the virus or have self isolated for the recommended 14 days.
